At the dawn of the twenty-first century, people around the world are experiencing events that have a global impact on the way we live, work, learn, and perceive ourselves, our communities, our region, our world, and our responsibilities within these parameters.  In a world of rapid and often unpredictable change, it often requires a great deal of courage and wisdom to challenge one's own personal perceptions  and to adjust to changing circumstances that are an inevitable part of living within a family and within local, regional, and global communities.  In this practicum, you will read and write about issues and events that cause people and societies to change and be changed.  Follow the Table of contents to work your way through this practicum, which is an ongoing project.
