Final  /t/ and  /d/

When the plosives /t/ and /d/ are in final position, there is no plosion.  They are unaspirated.  In other words, they must be formed but not released.

Play the audio link and listen for clear articulation of the these final consonants. Note that they are clearly formed.  Record these words, using the sound recorder on the computer, and then listen for your own clear formation of final /t/ and /d/.  Play Audio
